Infants under the age of 2 years are charged at 10% of the adult fare and do not occupy a seat. They must sit on an adult's lap.

Infants are not charged taxes unless travel originates in Spain. 

An infant must be under 2 years of age at the time of travel in order to be eligible for the discount.

Children between the ages of 2 - 11 inclusive pay the full adult fare on bmi and bmi regional fares with the following exceptions:

• Children travelling on fully flexible C class fares on international routes are charged at 67% of the adult fare
• Children travelling in any class on codeshare routes are charged at 67% of the adult fare
• Children travelling in any class from London Heathrow to Hanover are charged at 67% of the adult fare

Children are charged all relevant taxes and charges unless travel originates in Dublin or Italy.
