London Heathrow is one of the busiest airports in the world but getting to where you're staying is easy. Taxis are in abundance at Terminal 1, although it's not the cheapest way to get around, costing up to £70. Heathrow is 15 miles from the centre of London and traffic can be a problem so try the Heathrow Express Train which runs every 15 minutes and costs £16.50. Heathrow Connect trains cost £7.90 and run every 30 minutes or try the Tube - trains are every 5 minutes from all terminals but they can be crowded. There's also the National Express coach which costs £5 and takes around an hour to the centre of the capital.
